Dining plan credits

When we went in 2007 the meal plan was set so if you had 2 adults and 2 children you were allowed a counter service and a table service per person per day...if the child was 9 or under ,I think they had to order from the childs menu selections.  Over 9 was an adult meal plan and the only restrictions were the total amount of meal credits you had for your stay...you could use three counter services in one day if you wanted, but you would be shortof meals by the end of your trip.

Does anyone know if the counter service meals on the dining plan are separated into adults and kids? I read somewhere that they were not and another place that they were tracked according to type.  Thank you.
